Virus and Bacteria Killer
The Virus & Bacteria Killer, kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in a single treatment. It is suitable for both fabric and leather vehicle interiors.
How It Works
The Virus and Bacteria Killer releases a measured dose of dry Chlorine Dioxide gas. Chlorine Dioxide is most commonly used in water treatment and food sanitation and is proven to destroy viruses and bacteria in the air and on surfaces. The gas released by our product will sanitise all areas of your vehicle without the need to wipe it down. Studies have found that 0.1ppm of Chlorine Dioxide over a 3 hour period destroys viruses such as SARS, Influenza and bacteria such as E-Coli. Our product releases a Chlorine Dioxide concentration much above this threshold over an 8 hour period. Please see case studies at the bottom of this page.
How To Use
Before treating, remove all loose items such as clothing and tissues from the vehicle. Simply mix A into B, add 60ml of cold water to activate and place the solution in your vehicle for 8 hours. The solution will emit a gas which destroys viruses and bacteria within your vehicle. After 8 hours, open the vehicle doors and let the gas dissipate for 30 minutes, remove the jar and then you can use your vehicle as normal. It leaves no harmful residue and no dangerous by-products.You will notice a chlorine type, post-treatment smell which will dissipate in a few days and leave your car smelling neutral. This smell is not harmful and your car can be used as normal. Full step by step instructions come within the package.
Is the Virus & Bacteria Killer Safe?
Chlorine dioxide is used as an active component in the treatment. Chlorine dioxide is commercially used for water treatment as well as fruit and vegetable sterilisation. It leaves no harmful byproducts and simply breaks down into a basic saltwater solution. When treating your vehicle, it is important not to inhale the gas released for an extended period of time as it may irritate your throat and lungs. Only treat your vehicle when it is outside and in a well ventilated area.
